Multiple Sources (multiple-sources.com) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

What Data We Collect

Multiple Sources does not directly collect personal data. We do not require you to create an account, sign up for an email list, or provide your name, email, phone number, address, or Social Security number to browse our site.

However, third-party services integrated into our site do collect data:

  • Google AdSense: We display contextual ads powered by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies and pixel tags to serve ads and measure campaign performance. Learn about Google's ad policies.
  • Affiliate tracking pixels: When you click a lender link (LendingTree, Credible, Upstart, LendingClub, National Debt Relief, etc.), that lender's affiliate tracking pixel fires. This allows them to track that you came from our site and whether you applied. This is how lenders determine if they owe us a commission.
  • Analytics (if enabled): We may use website analytics to understand visitor behavior, traffic sources, and page performance. Standard metrics like pages viewed and referrer URLs are collected.

Cookies and Tracking

First-party cookies (from Multiple Sources): We may place minimal cookies to remember your preferences (e.g., theme choice if applicable). These do not identify you personally.

Third-party cookies: Cookies are set by:

  • Google AdSense / DoubleClick: For ad serving and frequency capping. Google's ad cookie policy.
  • Lender affiliate networks: When you click a lender link, their affiliate partner (e.g., Impact, ShareASale, or their own tracking) sets a cookie to track the conversion. This does not personally identify you, but it does link your click to your potential application.
  • Analytics services: If we use Google Analytics or similar, Google sets cookies to track sessions and behavior.

Opt-out of AdSense cookies: You can opt out of Google's personalized ads at Google Ad Settings. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.

Third-Party Lender Cookies

When you click a link to a lender (LendingTree, Credible, Upstart, LendingClub, National Debt Relief, etc.), that lender controls their own cookies and tracking. Their privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

These lenders may collect:

  • Name, email, phone number, address (if you fill out their application)
  • Credit information (if you authorize a hard pull)
  • Financial information (income, debts, assets if you proceed with an application)

Each lender's privacy policy governs their data practices. Review their policy before applying. We are not responsible for their data handling.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your credit score or credit report without your action (clicking through to a lender)
  • We do not collect your financial data (income, debts, assets, bank accounts)
  • We do not collect your Social Security number or government ID
  • We do not collect your email for our own marketing list (unless you contact us)
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know: What personal information a business collects, uses, and shares.
  • Delete: Personal information collected from you (with some exceptions).
  • Opt-out of sale or sharing: Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Non-discrimination: Not be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights.

Multiple Sources' position: We do not directly collect, use, or share personal information that would require CCPA disclosures. Google AdSense (for ad serving) and lender affiliate tracking operate independently of our control.
